The founders
ForeStrat was built by engineers with deep backgrounds in trading operations and quantitative research systems. Having designed and scaled mission-critical pipelines for leading investment firms, we built the products we wished existed.
Anand Chavan
Anand Chavan is a seasoned technology leader and entrepreneur with over 18 years of experience in fintech, hedge funds, investment banking, and software consulting. He specializes in AI-powered data systems, large-scale information extraction, and operational excellence.
Anand founded Foreseer, a generative AI platform for data management, which was acquired by S&P Global in 2022. He has led major initiatives at UBS, JP Morgan, and Amaranth, optimizing trading infrastructure and building real-time financial systems. Anand is passionate about solving complex problems at the intersection of AI and finance, promoting lean, collaborative teams that drive innovation, automation, and data-driven decision-making at scale.
Jacob Kaippallimalil
Jacob Kaippallimalil is an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in financial services technology. He specializes in quantitative research, data architecture, and systematic trading infrastructure.
Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership roles, including serving as a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and UBS. He has extensive experience running multi-billion dollar desks and building electronic trading infrastructure.
Notably, he scaled the systematic trading platform at Schonfeld across 25+ portfolio manager teams, managing platforms at institutions with hundreds of billions in capital.
